Royal Commission session at Nhill for abuse victims

The session follows events in Horsham and Warracknabeal yesterday.

The national disability representative and advocacy organisation People with Disability Australia will present the sessions, which will give community members an overview of the Royal Commission and explain how the organisation can support people.

Group join chief executiveMatthew Bowden said the session would help people, their families and friends to speak up about abuse they hadexperienced or witnessed.

The session will run from 11am to 12.30pm at Hindmarsh Shire Council’s offices in Nelson Street.
