South West colts out to regain Landmark bragging rights

The South West Football League colts side is trying to regain the title of Landmark champs this weekend. Pictured is the 2013 winning side.Much like the league side, the South West colts failed to carry any momentum from their first game into their second, as they went down to the Northern Suns.

After showing good form and straight kicking in their first game, the SWFL was outmatched by the Northern Suns losing the game 5.3.33 to 9.3.57.

Luke Hutchins hit the scoreboard for the second consecutive game while Ashley Eades and Nicholas Simpson found themselves in the best on ground category.

The South West Football League colts side showed good kicking is good football when they toppled Regional Districts in their first game.

Despite having four less scoring shots than their opponents, the SWFL kicked truly to finish 5.1.31 to 2.8.20 and claim a win to start to their campaign.

Perry Francis slotted two goals in the match for the South West while Tyler Bennell, Mitch Fairclough and Luke Hutchins booted one each.

Bunbury’sDillon Partridge and Busselton’s Ethan Bowman both put in top performances for the SWFL.
